High Speed Pinhole Leak Testing Technology for Pouches at Pack Expo in Booth C-2207
Tuckahoe, New York and Lakewood, Colorado (September 25, 2009) - Nikka Densok USA will exhibit an inline leak test system for pouches in the PTI Inspection Systems Booth at Pack Expo Las Vegas, Nevada in the Las Vegas Convention Center, Booth C-2207.
Nikka Densok will demonstrate their renowned high voltage technology for inline pinhole leak detection of pouches. Brian Ball, president of Nikka Densok USA, commented, "High voltage technology has been very successful at pinhole micro leak detection in the pharmaceutical industry for many filled & sealed products such as ampoules, vials, BFS containers, blisters and syringes. This same technology can be used for non-destructive 100% inline inspection of pouches filled with liquid or moist product. We are able to find defects down to 5 microns, and we can accommodate pouch sizes up to 32 oz., inspecting at speeds up to 100 pouches/minute."
The Nikka Densok HDT-1 Pinhole Inspector is designed to inspect individual containers and pouches for liquid leakage. The compact tabletop design is ideal for laboratory or production applications. The non-destructive high voltage test method ensures maximum inspection performance for hermetically sealed products. The HDT-1 provides quick changeover and easy test parameter changes to accommodate a wide range of products and applications.
